Trees are scarce resources in Mongolia. Besides making the best use of the available timber by producing only high-quality products that will last generations, we try to support tree growing in as many places as possible in Mongolia. In one of those efforts, we contributed in 2021 to a startup project called Shambala2056 that aims to plant thousands of trees in East Gobi province in Mongolia.
The project team sent us photos of small trees (the Siberian elm / Ulmus Pumila) planted in the name of some of our customers and tree certificates issued in their names.
